dena has coordinated the Database of Energy Efficiency Experts, which lists experts for subsidised energy consultations as well as refurbishment and new construction projects, since 2011. The aim is to establish uniform national quality standards for energy consultations and construction planning and guidance. The Database of Energy Efficiency Experts for Government Subsidy Programmes will be further expanded on to act as a central point of contact. In this manner, private builders, companies and local authorities will also be able to find qualified experts in their region quickly and easily in the future.
The Database of Energy Efficiency Experts ensures that qualifications of the registered specialists from the various professions are equivalent and of high quality. All experts must prove that they fulfil the quality standards of the Database of Energy Efficiency Experts, both when they are admitted and when they renew again every three years. dena monitors the documentation provided. In addition, the work results of the registered specialists are also randomly checked through on-site inspections, for example.
