dena Energy Award 2026

The dena Energy Award 2026 recognises companies from Germany and abroad that are using innovative projects to improve energy efficiency, reduce CO₂ emissions and drive the transition to climate neutrality. An independent jury will select the winners for outstanding solutions. In addition, the “Pioneer” People’s Choice Award will be presented to small and medium-sized enterprises. The awards ceremony will take place in Berlin in November.

Applications are open until 5 June 2026 in three categories:

• Move forward!
  Integrated strategies and measures for climate neutrality
  Awards will be given to holistic climate protection strategies with concrete projects that make a significant contribution to decarbonisation and achieving climate neutrality. 
• Go smart!
  Energy efficiency through technology and digitalisation The award recognises innovative technologies and digital solutions that demonstrably unlock efficiency potential and sustainably reduce energy consumption. 
• Act together!
  Collaboration for effective energy efficiency and climate protection projects
  The award recognises successful collaborations – for example with energy service providers or financing partners – that enable and accelerate ambitious solutions.
