Our mission

International agreements, innovations and best practices for the global energy transition – that's Berlin Energy Week. The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) conference is at the centre of the week. High-ranking national and international government representatives and decision-makers from politics, business and society will take part in the BETD and the Berlin Energy Week. Together they will discuss solutions for the global energy transition.

Over 1,200 people from more than 130 countries regularly take part in the BETD. During Berlin Energy Week, the BETD is complemented by a variety of events.

Our approach

The entire Berlin Energy Week serves to promote international dialogue – between representatives of governments, politics and administration. In addition to presentations and discussions, the programe also aims to provide insights into the practical implementation of the energy transition on site. Accordingly, we actively involve partner companies in Berlin and Brandenburg in the programe.

The Federal Government is organising the BETD. As an expert in the energy transition with interdisciplinary expertise, dena supports the federal government in organising the Berlin Energy Week. We are working together with the German Renewable Energy Federation, the German Solar Association and eclareon GmbH.

Our milestones

2024: 1,200 participants in the BETD and 2,300 participants in the BEW from 130 countries
