Opportunities and challenges for the market ramp-up in Germany
Agri-PV systems have the potential to become an important building block for the success of the energy transition, as they resolve existing conflicts of objectives and utilisation between the energy transition and agricultural production through the multiple use of land. This not only makes it possible to maintain agricultural yields, but also to adapt to climate change, contribute to biodiversity conservation and promote the necessary diversification of agricultural enterprises to secure and increase value creation.
The paper presents the market development to date and provides an overview of key areas of action for a successful market ramp-up.
