The Deutsche Energie-Agentur (German Energy Agency – dena) operates out of several locations in Berlin and Halle an der Saale, Germany. The majority of the staff, the Management Board and a cross-section of all departments can be found at the Berlin-Mitte and EUREF locations in Berlin. The other locations are reserved for teams working on specific projects.

dena has set up its project site for the Future Energy Lab on the premises of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory (KPM). The lab serves as a networking hub for the energy and digital industries.
The implementation and further development of the German National Hydrogen Strategy is supported by the Hydrogen Coordination Office (Leitstelle Wasserstoff). In addition to serving as a location for dena, the Green Garage also hosts employees from other companies – all together in the Hydrogen Coordination Office.
Ritterhaus – Municipal Heating Transition Excellence Centre (KWW)
dena set up its largest project-related location in the city of Halle an der Saale in 2022. There are 30 workstations for the Municipal Heating Transition Excellence Centre (KWW) there. The KWW strengthens the role of municipalities as key players in the heating transition.

Centre of Expertise for Energy Efficiency through Digitalisation in Industry and Buildings (KEDi)
dena operates another KEDi in Halle an der Saale as a nationwide, central contact point primarily for small and medium-sized industrial companies and the building management sector. The aim of KEDi is to better tap energy efficiency potential in the two sectors using digitalisation.
