Cyberattack on dena

Cyberattack on dena’s server infrastructure – email and telephone service at dena disrupted. IT security measures have been taken. The dena press office can be reached via the standard mobile phone numbers.

Berlin, Germany, 14 November 2023 – At the weekend, dena was targeted by cybercriminals with an attack to its server infrastructure. An investigation into the perpetrators of the cyberattack is still ongoing. As a result of the attack, dena’s technological capacity to work has been greatly compromised since the attack, and the company cannot be reached by phone or email.

dena immediately took all IT security measures, also with the help of external IT forensic experts. The national authorities have also been informed. The aim of all measures is now to restore the company’s ability to work as quickly as possible under secure conditions.
