Invitation to German-Polish Energy Conference 2023

The German-Polish Energy Conference will take place on 31 August 2023 in Szczecin. Participants from both countries will come together to discuss the impact of EU energy policies on cross-border cooperation between Poland and Germany. The German-Polish Energy Platform will also play a role.

The fourth German-Polish Energy Conference will take place in Szczecin on 31 August 2023. Around 130 participants from the public sector, companies, and other institutions in both countries will come together to discuss the impact of EU-level energy policy measures on cross-border cooperation between Poland and Germany.

The event will address the potential impact of the Green Deal on the Oder region in Poland and Germany, as well as the opportunities it presents for cross-border cooperation. The event will also offer insights into specific cross-border energy supply projects and provide a platform for discussions on energy efficiency, hydrogen, renewable energies, and other relevant topics.

Dr Rita Ehrig (Team Leader Renewable Heat) and Anna Wasielewski (Project Manager of the German-Polish Energy Platform at dena) will provide an overview of the current status of EU legislation, highlight its significance for bilateral cooperation, and present the German-Polish Energy Platform.
