The 4th German-Polish Energy Transition Forum will take place on 9 June 2026 at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. On the evening of the 8th, a networking reception will take place at the International Club on the premises of the Federal Foreign Office.

This year, too, the event will bring together high-level representatives from the worlds of politics, business, industry and civil society in both countries to discuss key energy policy issues relating to a secure, stable and resilient energy supply in Europe.

If you are interested in participating, please register by 29 May 2026.

You can also find the event programme here.  Places are limited!

Please note that, due to security regulations, only registered guests will be granted access to the event. Registration is only confirmed once the organisers have sent a confirmation.

The 4th German-Polish Energy Transition Forum will address the following questions, amongst others:

  • What are Poland and Germany’s current energy policy priorities?
  • Diversified energy pathways as a strength: what strategic role can Poland and Germany play in this regard?
  • How can closer cooperation between Germany and Poland accelerate the expansion of offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea?
  • How can the circular economy contribute to greater resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability for European industry?

The forum is organized by the German-Polish Energy Platform on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

This year, the forum will once again be complemented by a supporting program of side events, organized in cooperation with partners, including Germanwatch and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). Please note that participation is by invitation only.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please send us an email at d-p-plattform(at)dena.de. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
