Prospects for a Cross-Border Energy Region
The vision: Utilising renewable energies across borders within an energy region. This German-Polish workshop will explore the opportunities and possibilities of this concept.
Borders should not hinder cooperation between neighbouring European municipalities. The German-Polish Energy Platform is therefore investigating ways of establishing a joint energy region in the border area, together with stakeholders from the border region and companies from both countries.
The knowledge gathered in numerous discussions on closer cooperation so far will now be presented and discussed at a workshop, where the possibilities of a cross-border energy region will be explored together.
