Implementing the energy transition

The German-Polish Energy Platform examines how energy communities are organised in both countries, makes key findings accessible and develops proposals for further improving the framework conditions.

Borders should not be an obstacle to cooperation between neighbouring municipalities. Border regions are seen as laboratories for European cooperation. Together with stakeholders from the border region and companies from both countries, the possibilities for establishing a joint German-Polish energy region in the border area are being explored.
