German-Polish Energy Transition Forum 2025

3rd German-Polish Energy Transition Forum

On 3 December 2025, dena and KAPE, in collaboration with the German Embassy in Warsaw and the AHK Poland invited to Warsaw for the 3rd German-Polish Energy Transition Forum.

Around 100 high-ranking representatives from politics, business, industry, think tanks, and academia accepted the invitation to this year's annual meeting of the German-Polish Energy Platform on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office. The meeting was held under the title 'A strong partnership for Europe's energy security', including discussions on current energy policy challenges in both countries and in Europe. The event focused on the opportunities for a competitive industry through decarbonisation, stronger networking through interconnectors and the protection of energy infrastructure.

On the eve of the forum, Miguel Berger, German Ambassador to Warsaw, hosted a reception for the forum participants at the German Embassy in Warsaw. As in the previous year, the supporting programme was complemented by an exchange between think tanks from both countries, which took place in cooperation with Germanwatch and focused on the social aspects of the energy transition. Representatives of the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) also participated in the dialogue.
