If you want to report biomethane volumes from your facility to the dena Biogas Register as a producer, you need a company account.
If you want to resell the biomethane volumes as a trader, you also need an account in the Biogas Register. This allows you to manage the relevant volumes and generate register extracts for your end customers.
If, as the recipient of biomethane volumes, you wish to manage the creation of registry statements yourself, you can also issue them to yourself as the recipient using your own account.
No separate account required: If you use the purchased biomethane yourself, the Biogas Registry statement issued by your supplier in your name as the recipient is sufficient. As the recipient, you do not need to maintain your own account.
Municipal utilities: If municipal utilities supply residential customers, they can, upon receipt of the registry statement, continue tracking the mass balance in their own system all the way to the end customer. Alternatively—if they have an account—individual registry statements for specific customers can also be generated directly in the Biogas Registry.

Generally, once we receive your completed registration forms, we can send you your login credentials via email within 1 to 2 business days.
Each company (manufacturers and distributors) is required to pay the annual base fee once a year. In addition, there are costs for registering production batches and accepting imported quantities.
There are no costs for accounts held by testing companies.
Please refer to the fee schedule for the amounts of the fees.
There is no limit to the number of user accounts per company. Creating additional user accounts does not incur any additional costs, as the annual base fee applies only to your company account.
In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions for Registered Companies, the contract may be terminated with regular notice by October 31 of each year, effective at the end of the calendar year. Please feel free to send us the termination notice for your company account as a PDF.
