Automated Transfers: dena Biogasregister Uses the ERGaR Interface to CERT X

Effective immediately, the dena Biogasregister will process imports and exports of biomethane certificates fully automatically via the ERGaR interface to CERT X.

Using the API from CERT X, ERGaR’s hub, eliminates manual steps such as uploading XML files or PODs. The registry administrator remains responsible for validity checks, while processing times at dena are significantly reduced. In addition, potential sources of error in the previous process are eliminated.

For users of the dena Biogasregister, nothing will change regarding the international trade of biomethane volumes—except for faster and more reliable processing.
