Cyberattack on dena: Find out more.
Germany has set itself ambitious goals for climate protection and energy efficiency. The energy supply must be shifted towards renewable energies to the greatest extent possible, and at the same time, the energy demand must be reduced, especially in the building, industry and transport sectors.
dena was commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action to act as the administrative office for the organisational support of the Energy Efficiency Platform. The administrative office’s tasks particularly include the preparation, organisation and follow-up of working group meetings and plenary sessions. In addition, dena communicates the results to the stakeholders involved in the process and to a broad professional public.
The continuous exchange with representatives from the fields of science and business as well as civil society contributes to increasing energy efficiency. Cross-sectoral pathways are discussed, avenues for implementation are described and concrete instruments and measures are developed. The broad participation of stakeholders ensures that the recommendations for action are practical and supported by all.
