Robert-Jan Sieben is the Minister Counsellor and Head of the Economic Affairs Department at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Berlin. With extensive experience in international finance and diplomacy, he has held various senior positions within the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Notably, he has served as the Head of the International Financial Institutions Division, overseeing the Netherlands' engagement with global financial institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Additionally, he was Netherlands deputy ambassador to Greece where he was directly involved in discussion on the Euro crisis.
Mr. Sieben is multilingual and passionate about fostering economic ties between the Netherlands and Germany. He frequently engages with stakeholders across sectors to promote Dutch interests in the region. His work encompasses policy coordination, economic diplomacy, and strategic partnerships, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
