German-Danish District Heating Forum Panel III: Efficient heating networks Operating models and pricing in local district heating networks

In addition to building scale solutions and large existing heating networks, district heating networks (DHN) can play a role in providing efficient solutions based on renewable energies. While a range of supply and distribution technologies is available, connecting the various actors necessary to implement new green DHN often remains a challenge. The session will look at existing concepts and strategies in Denmark and Germany to connect the implementation of DHN with the community’s strategy for heat planning. We will also have a closer look at the actors and value chain and discuss how the District Heating Forum can help to transfer relevant knowledge.
