The challenge:

The global energy transition requires international consensus and coordinated action. Investments in sustainable energy systems and an even stronger commitment on the path to climate neutrality are urgently needed.

What we are doing:

The BETD facilitates the exchange between decision-makers of the global energy transition. Numerous ministers from all regions of the world are participating in the conference. dena is also organising the Berlin Energy Week, which offers many opportunities for dialogue beyond the days on which the conference is held.

The overall outcome:

Over 13,000 people from more than 130 countries regularly take part in the BETD, including around 50 ministers and state secretaries. The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue successfully provides impetus for the creation of energy transition strategies on a global level and through various formats, facilitates the transfer of expertise on energy transition strategies and technical solutions.

BETD 2024

In 2024, high-ranking participants from politics, industry and civil society will come together under the motto "Energiewende - Securing a Green Future". Join the Dialogue!
