Global Supply and Demand for Hydrogen: Canada and Germany Moving Ahead

Hydrogen will be a major driver to decarbonize economies. How can the increasing global demand for hydrogen in industrial applications and for transportation be met?

Canada and Germany both outlined hydrogen strategies in 2020. The strategies comprise elements of hydrogen production, local hydrogen economies and international trade of hydrogen. Join the session on global supply and demand for hydrogen and follow the discussion of leading energy corporations and government representatives on the opportunities and challenges to establishing a global hydrogen economy. Find out how Canada and Germany will move ahead to 2030 and beyond.

This year, our Business-to-Government Dialogue will foster exchange between the German energy industry and high-ranking government officials from Canada. During the two-hour session, German industry representatives will have the opportunity to obtain valuable information on Canada´s current legal and economic framework. Focusing on several aspects of Canada´s national energy strategies and recent market and policy developments.
