Energy-efficient refurbishment in Ukraine — Findings and stimuli

Since the political upheaval that took place one and a half years ago, Ukraine has been under pressure to reform. The challenges also include the necessity of reducing energy imports, increasing consumer prices for energy, and high state subsidies. One important approach is increasing energy efficiency in residential buildings. In collaboration with German partners, 20 model projects were recently selected which are to serve as role models for energy-efficient refurbishment in Ukraine.
