"Electromobility needs incentives"

dena’s Managing Director Andreas Kuhlmann briefly describes in the Tagesspiegel newspaper how the energy transition in the transportation sector can shift into a higher gear, and is convinced that politicians and the private sector in particular need the courage to implement reforms.

Andreas Kuhlmann strongly believes that bonuses for buying vehicles with alternative power sources, special depreciation for electric company cars and extending energy tax reliefs for natural gas and biomethane would provide key incentives. However, these are only the first steps, as long-term mobility strategies and innovations are even more important to tap the great economic potential in the transport sector.
