Energising tomorrow’s world

How can we improve energy efficiency? How should we build the energy systems of the future? How do we bring together people who will make the difference?

And how can we strengthen international cooperation? Our projects design energy for tomorrow’s world.

Energy efficiency

The energy transition calls for innovation and a fresh mindset. Our current level of energy consumption must be halved as quickly as possible. And it is imperative to satisfy this demand using regenerative energy sources that protect our climate and environment. The energy transition will be more successful if we use electricity, heat and fuel efficiently.

Power to Gas Strategy Platform,

dena has been in charge of the Power to Gas Strategy Platform since 2011. Together with partners from business, associations and science, it analyses the importance of Power to Gas for the use of renewable electricity and defines the conditions for utilisation of the system solution for economical and large-scale technical deployment.

Overview

  • Project start: 2011
  • currently 26 project partners
  • Objective: 1,000 MW installed capacity in the form of electrolysers by the year 2022
