General Terms and Conditions for the Use of the EnerKI map

The world map for the use of AI in the energy sector (EnerKI Map), developed and continuously updated in the context of the dena EnerKI project, provides an overview of relevant players in research, companies and start-ups.

Entries in the EnerKI Map

All organisations that apply/research AI can record themselves in the map and demonstrate a connection between their activities and the energy industry and/or prospects for a future transferability to the energy industry.
After receipt by dena of the complete information required, this will be published on the internet. The companies themselves are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information. dena is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of the information provided. dena should be notified of any changes via the email address

No claim to entry

dena may reject entries, refuse publication or delete entries for whatsoever reason. There is no automatic entitlement to entry in the map.

Usage rights

The companies grant dena the simple rights of use, unrestricted in terms of geography or time, of the copyright material transferred to dena.
The companies assure dena that the usage rights to the materials do not violate the copyright, trademark rights, personality rights, data protection rights or other rights of third parties. They further assure that the materials are substantially true.
The companies indemnify dena against all claims by third parties that are asserted against dena on the basis of existing rights to the materials transferred to dena for publication and shall reimburse dena for any costs arising from a legal defence.

Processing for entry and for direct advertising

dena collects, processes and uses the personal data provided in order to enable entry in the map as well as to inform your company in the future about similar offers. The companies are entitled to object to the use of their data for advertising purposes with future effect by sending an email to


Within the range of potential bases for claims, dena shall be liable for intent and gross negligence only. Liability due to slight negligence is excluded. This limitation does not apply in the event of a breach of key contractual obligations or for personal injury or losses which result from the absence of a warranted property or for which liability is provided for under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). Indirect losses are excluded from liability and lost profits will not be compensated for, unless the losses were caused intentionally. dena's liability is restricted to foreseeable damage that is typical of the contract.

Final provisions

If any individual provisions of this assignment should be or become void, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
The place of jurisdiction is Berlin. This contract shall be governed exclusively by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
