Our mission

The transformation to a climate-neutral economy and society is complex. Our task is to communicate tasks and solutions – no matter how complicated – to the appropriate target groups in a comprehensible way. We inform, explain and make our position clear.

Our approach

All of dena’s topics come together in the Communication work area, and all disciplines work together to this end. We develop strategies and campaigns as well as preparing topics for press relations, our social media channels or the main website. All of dena’s publications pass through our work area. We also organise numerous events, from fireside chats in the evening to large conferences. We have the target groups and their needs firmly in our sights. All the teams work together in a network, particularly closely in the dena newsroom, our central content hub, and in the teams for events and stakeholder management.

Our organisational structure

The division has around 45 employees and is divided into seven work areas.

 

Work areas

  • Events team: responsible for the design, planning, organisation and successful implementation of more than 300 events per year
  • Customer Relationship Management team: responsible for addressing our target groups in a tailored way 

These five teams work together in the newsroom: 

  • Corporate Content and Concept/Internal Communication team: responsible for the content design, creation and playout of formats via our channels both externally and internally as well as communication with the Accounts department and the Supervisory Board
  • Digital team: responsible for the technical support of dena’s various websites and digital channels and its numerous projects
  • Press team: responsible for communication with and via traditional media, ranging from trade journals and podcasts to TV appearances by our experts
  • Corporate Design and Production team: responsible for the visualisation of dena’s content, for graphic design work, photos and videos, for a stringent corporate design and a coherent brand presence
  • Specialist Communications team: responsible for the technical quality of the communication formats and seamless cooperation between the communication division and dena’s departments and staff units
