Application and development of renewable energies

Germany favours the sun, wind and water: Kyoto Protocol, reliability of supply and energy imports are only three of the catchwords used to describe an energy strategy which is based on the consistent development of renewable energies, hence the contribution of these to Germany’s electricity supply is to be increased to at least 35 per cent by the year 2020.
