When Germany's 2009 energy saving regulations came into force, the energy quality requirements applying to new buildings and refurbishment projects became 30 percent more stringent. There is now an option for an energy assessment of homes to DIN V 18599. dena's “Building Energy Balance Assessment Information Portal” assists specialists in successfully implementing these technical rules and regulations. An e-mail response management system allows specialists to direct their questions to experts on the standardisation committees where they will be resolved and the answers published.
dena has developed a wide-ranging network of experts to ensure that the information is of high quality. Queries are answered with the involvement of highly qualified specialists working in standardisation. After successful registration, questions may be asked free of charge. Users can also check the status of their query or manage their own questions and answers.
The information portal is at www.zukunft-haus.info/bilanzierung. An overview of network experts and a selection of frequently asked questions with their associated answers are published on the website of the information portal.
