dena offers new contracting course.
Energy-saving contracting is a tried and tested method to raise energy efficiency. Experienced contracting providers plan and implement energy-efficient refurbishment of public and private buildings. Clients benefit from reduced energy costs resulting from integrated savings concepts. Energy-saving contracting can lead to significant savings. Nevertheless, the implementation of refurbishment projects is rarely straightforward. dena has therefore advised public authorities on contracting projects since 2002.
With the aim of further improving project quality and collaboration between contracting providers and clients, the dena Centre of Expertise for Contracting invited representatives of a contracting provider to its first two-day training course in Berlin at the end of November. Aside from “guarantee of success” agreements, the programme focussed on all process stages, from application to contract conclusion. Current trends, such as integration of heat insulation measures, were also discussed. An excursion to a Berlin-based contracting project rounded off the course. dena plans to offer further training courses in the future that can be adapted to the knowledge and interests of the individual participants.
